8TH WORLDWIDE REUNION IN 2010 AT TORONTO

Dear Maryknollers,

During our 7th WWR celebration dinner on February 21, Maryknollers voted to have the next reunion in Vancouver. Unfortunately, they are not able to do this and asked the Toronto Chapter to take it. Toronto graciously replied "yes". To make the celebration more meaningful, the Toronto girls asked to co-celebrate their Chapter's 30th Anniversary and the WWR in 2014. I support this decision and know that you too will understand that circumstances have changed our original plans.

IT'S NOT OVER YET

Dear Maryknollers and friends,

The 3-day program has successfully completed with hundreds of visitors attended the Homecoming and the Mass; plus over 2,200 guests at the Gala Dinner on Sunday. We have so much fun and joy, and will share the photos here in near future. Stay tuned.

Please note that the 8th Worldwide Reunion will be hosted in Vancouver in 2013. Mark your diary now if you don't want to miss it!

Join the Stage!
Don't hide away your memorable school day shots! Share them at the Reunion. We're calling for old Maryknoll-related photos to be shown on the backdrop during the dinner performances. What fun to see yourself and your classmates the way you were, up close and personal!
Deadline for submission is January 31, 2010. Please email your photos to wwr@mcsfsa.com. Jpeg files with sizes under 1MB are good enough.

Directory Compilation
Thank you for submitting your personal information for our WWR Directory. The entry of data is officially closed as of Dec 31, 2009, as stated on the Directory Compilation Form. We have already allowed a grace period up to Jan 15, 2010. We apologize that any information received beyond that date cannot appear in the Directory. Kindly refrain from sending in any more data forms as they will not be processed.

Please accept our sincerest gratitude for your generous contribution and sponsorship towards the event. Unfortunately, we have officially passed the deadline for acknowledging our sponsors in the program booklet. If you still wish to support us with any sponsorship, we gratefully accept your offer but we won't be able to appropriately recognize your contribution.

TICKETS SOLD OUT

With your staunch support, we have completely filled the Grand Hall of the HKCEC. All tickets for the 7th WWR & 85th Anniversary banquet have been sold out. Thank you very much, but unfortunately we have to decline the registrations received from Dec 15, 2009 onwards.

Directory Compilation
For the successful registrants, please note the deadline for submission of the Directory Compilation Form is DECEMBER 31, 2009. Any late submissions will not be included in the WWR Directory. Please help to liaise with your classmates to send in the forms soonest possible.

Ticket Collection
All details for ticket collection are stated in the Confirmation Note sent to the registration representative. Please avoid calling the school offices for enquiries. Alternatively, send your enquiry to wwr@mcsfsa.com. Please arrange among your group and bring along the Note as proof to pick up your ticket(s). For security purpose, we would NOT mail out the tickets.
Venue: Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section) School Office, 5 Ho Tung Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong
Date: January 25, 2010 (Monday) to February 5, 2010 (Friday)
Time: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (open during lunch hours), Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Tickets will also be available for pick up on February 19 during the Homecoming program at both MCS and MSS school offices. Uncollected tickets will be distributed at the Gala Dinner Reception at the Grand Hall, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on February 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

We are excited to tell you that just five weeks into our ticket sale for the 85th Anniversary & 7th Worldwide Reunion Celebrations, half of the tables have been sold! As an alumna, your registration entitles you to more than an evening at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It also includes school tours with refreshments, a Worldwide Reunion Mass at the MCS School Hall, plus an exclusive Souvenir Combo. 'More than meets the eye', the occasion will certainly become one of the most talked of events among the alumnae.

Hurry, hurry, hurry! Demand is catching up with supply fast. Spread the word and get your classmates to join you at the table right away!

About your registration ...

After you sent in your registration, you will receive a "Confirmation Note" providing you the details of ticket collection. You will also receive a "Directory Compilation" form in which we are much obliged to you for your assistance to gather the contact details of the alumnae within your registration. If you have the contact details of other non-attendees, you are welcome to forward their details to us, provided they agree to your so doing.

The personal data collected will be published in an Alumnae Directory which will be distributed only to all WWR attendees. The data will be saved and held by the school until our next WWR. All alumnae (WWR attendees and non-attendees) are free to choose if they wish to publish their personal data or otherwise.

Any day can be the last day for the Worldwide Reunion Registration. Due to the limited number of seats that have to be allocated amongst overseas Maryknoll alumni and spouses, local MCS and MSS alumni and spouses, current students, parents, etc., tickets will be going FAST. In fact, the official 7th WWR and 85th Anniversary Celebrations Committee have intentionally left the deadline open. So get on the wagon as soon as your classmates are ready and snap up a few tables before they are out fast!!
